[0.95] What, specifically, is required to build Forest Drakes?

I've killed Forest Drakes by the dozens, but I have never, ever seen a Forest Drake resource appear on the map that I can then use to build Forest Drakes. I remember building this in a previous Beta. Is it no longer available? If it is available, is it only available to the Empire? (I've only been playing Kingdom). Is there a tech required to get the camp to show up?

I've never seen or heard of such a thing, but I am not an expert on FE...

Are you sure you aren't confusing them for dragons... there are dragon lairs you can capture on some maps.

Other than that theres Knights, Wildlings, Darklings, Ogres and Trolls that you can recruit...

Think they came from dragon lairs, seen a dragon lair here and there, there was a problem in an earlier beta that you could build the improvement without having the tech required.

Havent tried building on these lairs, my latest games have been the longest, and I was empire and mean and killing stuff (in my own stupidly slow pace)

they're pretty dang rare, to put it bluntly. more rare than gold resource or ancient temples atm. I still haven't seen more than 1 of those.

IDK. Play a large map with dense , get more chances is only thing I can tell you. Outside of modding the rarity.

Forest Drakes were only available to a faction that had Serpent Pact. That trait was removed along with the lairs it would allow you to use. I think the lairs may still be in the code, but turned off. If not, I have the old files and can bring them back. Part of one of my mods adds beast training as a primary strategy.

That's right! Serpent Pack. I always chose that trait, I loved training up monsters.
