First off, love beta 4.

Second, I was fighting some flame elementals and their health bars didn't seem to decrease when I hit them, I thought they might have insane;y high hit points or something (there was probably a stat sheet I didn't bother to look at during the battle).

Third.  Ok, I am playing on Easy but, I started to invade the burning lands with my sov, a fighter champion, some girls with ice staffs, and some ice spearmen, divided in 2 armies.

I thought I could use hit-and-run tactics to thin out the smaller monster groups and gain experience but I woke the big guy and he started heading to my territory with his army.  I thought for sure I was done for.  

I sent in some skirmishers of icespearmen and icemages to try to whittle down the flame ignyses at least.  They did, and they died, as expected (no champions were leading this group).  However, the big guy, Delin I think, fell down and disappeared on the strategic map like I killed him but I don't even remember seeing him in the battle.  I wasn't even within my ZoC; I was in between 2 of my provinces.

I was able to clean up the remaining flame elemental and ignyses with my sov's army (this is where I saw the aforementioned health bar issue).  The burning lands are now cleansed and I'm going to make a new city there.

I'm not complaining, I'm gonna keep playing this match.  However, I get the feeling I shouldn't have been able to defeat Delin that easily, even on Easy.
