Cant remember what GalCiv version I started with, but I bought this one on release expecting the best. Dont need to rehash that one now.
Im impressed on how far you folks have gone to make this playable and enjoyable.
And now its free, because I forget what else I would have bought with my money at the time.
Anyway, Im impressed and looking forward to the finished product even if its never perfect. Nothing is!
One side note (I dont read the forums all that much) is; Can we make more use of the right-mouse button?
If anyone's played the newest Total War (shogun). Everything there has a hover-over description and a right-click utility of some sort. You can get into depth with the UI by right clicking and only moving your mouse a quarter inch. I didnt enjoy the game for more than a few rounds, but I was most impressed by the deep UI.
And needing to use the spacebar to skip a turn in tac battle is a pain when you have a cig in your mouse hand and a beer in the other.
Anyway, I almost lost hope. You guys, girls and your attorney have all done a fine job.
--pats you on the back--
edit: would it be possible for the first guys to move in tac battles to move through his friendlies instead of around them? Still havent finished a game yet, but its usually the sovereign or his boyfriends.
In Braveheart the movie, ol' Mel was leading the charge.
