I'm enjoying FE so far, but there is one little gripe that has continued to bug me since WOM.
I really wish we could have a clearer notification that a city has finished its training/building queue. I know that you get a little message on the top right of the screen and a "zzzzz" next to the city's icon on the left. However, these are both very small on a 1920x1080 screen. If I'm preoccupied with questing or fighting battles, I very often fail to notice them (especially if I'm using auto turn). A few turns later, I realise that several cities have been left idle for some time. This often results in me reloading from an autosave from the time before they went idle, but I sometimes just quit in frustration.
The only way that I can get around this is by turning off auto turn and trying to train myself to look at the icons before pressing the end turn button. Even then, when things get exciting in the game, I often forget to do this. (It could just be that I'm getting old and my eyesight isn't what it used to be!)
If I remember rightly, in Civ 5, you get a dialogue box when a city finishes production and you cannot continue playing until you decide what you want it do do next, even if it is just for it to remain idle. This is perhaps a bit heavy handed, but something similar in FE would be good, and I think it would help with micromanagement issues. Perhaps there could be a notification that could be turned on or off depending on personal preference (I've looked through the options screen but cannot see anything like this at the moment).
