So all in all, ive still got no faith in Elemental: War of Magic ever being much fun, but I have hope that FE willl actually be one of the best 4x fantasy games I will have played.
FE isn't 4x from what I gather, it's a totally different game. It's what's got me worried because FE isn't just an improvement over EWOM, it's a totally different game. And so, when/if people slam v1.3, that's it' We're stuck with EWOM as the only current fantasy 4x and they'll put no more work in it.
Back to OP.. thanks for the try Xia.. sadly, faith in SD does not translate to faith in EWOM. I'm too far gone. Now, if EWOM 1.3 is actually fun (doubt it as I think it'd take at least 1.5 to add "fun" to the game), I may have a stroke due to surprise
