What happened to the big Announcement?

I was all pumped up thinking today's the day we hear about 1.11 and 1.2 and the 1st expansion. So far nothing.

Frogboy did say "right off the bat", but I assumed it would be in the first week or so. Better than him saying 'first quarter' or something like that.

Well, coming from the futurs - I live in Australia, where it's the 4th already - I can confirm that annoucement was made for the duration of the 3rd.  Better luck tomorrow guys, I'll keep you posted.

They're coming.  Today was 10 hours of planning meetings.

Frankly, I'm surprised some people haven't figured out at least one of the announcements.

You mean the one about Heavenfall joining Stardock?  I figured that one out a long time ago.  Or do you mean the one about Jon Shafer (ex-Firaxis) joining Stardock?  Those are my two guesses.

I'd like to thank everyone who voted for the ability to fill a world with rampaging monsters. Knowing there are people out there who want the same thing makes me feel all warm inside, and somewhat scared.

You must have known Stardock couldn't keep this secret forever...

 

 

Also, are we really getting Jon Shafer? Does this mean squares will be replaced with hexes or that this will become Elemental:Revolution, or both?

So where are they already???  ;~p I feel like a kid who's Christmas keeps getting postponed. 

My Wild guess is Heavenfall, Sirian, annnnd maybe Soren Johnson.
