alright so far into 1.1 and the game is looking alot better than previous versions so definitely going in the right direction.

i got some problems though i need some help.

so i start the game and  research shard harvesting. after i get the tech i find that i still cannot build any of the improvements on the tiles with the shards. the tech is still on the list i research it again... still i cant build any improvements.

i go to warfare and i research equipment. ok i get equipment. i think maybe one or two new items i get one of which is a spear. no padded armor nothing. i research again the equipment tech and nothing.

i dont know if the techs are broken or what the deal is but really pissing me off i research a technology yet after i get the tech i find myself not being able to recieve its benefits. i am missing something here??

please i need DIRE help. ive yet to really get deep in the game since i find myself pigeon holed in a repetetive tech cycle.
