I just finished a great game.
I King Hobbit, the royal scribe for Procipinee will walk through rise of Queen Procipinee and the Amarian Kingdom. Along the way I will walk you through some the battles, the developments, and even the strange occurrences of the Elemental world.
As the heir to the Amarian throne, Procipinee founded her new kingdom. She named the city New Pariden. It was a fantastic location with two magical shards, one fire and one earth, were within walking distance and fertile land for crops to feed her people. As Procipinee lit the beacon to signal to all that civilization has returned to Elemental, a merchant named Janusk agreed to offer any assistance to her. Together they explored the New Pariden valley looking for anything that could aid in the development of the fledging kingdom ever mindful not stray too far. The wilds in the valley were constantly attacking the citizens of New Pariden.
New Pariden grew quickly over the next few seasons. In fact several other scholars, researchers, and merchants came to offer their services to young Queen Procipinee. Several agreed to watch over New Pariden as the queen explored even further into the wild. Upon leaving the first thing the queen decreed was to develop shrines for the shards in the valley. Queen Procipinee venturing to the southwest Queen Procipinee found an oasis. Near the oasis was two ancient temples with what Procipinee hoped would be a wealth of magical knowledge. Procipinee quickly sent word to New Pariden to send a pioneer to the new valley so the city of Paridor could be founded. Trade routes were developed between the two cities of the Amarian kingdom. Unfortunately, thieves destroyed the trade caravans and the routes could never be started again (bug—neither city could ever a caravan for the rest of the game—in the screen it showed red as if I already had one).
Back in New Pariden as the city grew so too did the influence the young queen put on the New Pariden Valley. In the valley, a clay pit and iron ore mine were found, along with another ancient temple. Queen Procipinee quickly sent scholars to research the ancient scrolls in the three temples of the Amarian kingdom. The scholars succeeded and the Queen Procipinee magical influence quickly grew. A mild discontent started with Queen Procipinee as she almost exclusively used her researchers to develop more and more magical secrets. However, that discontent was short lived as Queen Procipinee used incantations that inspired other technology and services to flourish such as economics, mining, even housing.
Too many peoples surprise Queen Procipinee never spent much time developing an army for Amaria. Instead, Queen Procipinee had several dedicated champions to protect her kingdom. One such champion was Rolinard, unlike other champions; Rolinard did not stay behind to protect the cities. Instead, he travelled with Procipinee and she discovered more and more of the unknown wilds of Elemental. Rolinard was with Procipinee when she met Ceresa, the witch from the east. This meeting did not go well. I suspect the two most powerful channelers were never meant to get along. Queen Procipinee and Rolinard were married just before meeting another eastern Empire, the treacherous Karavox and the rest of his Kraxis criminals. Karavox commanded a large Empire to the southeast of New Pariden. There were rumors of two other channelers but as far Procipinee traveled she never could locate any evidence of their existence.
On the eve of Prince Theresus’ birth, the tensions between Queen Procipinee and the witch Ceresa finally boiled over when soldiers from Resoln destroyed a gold mine and murdered the Amarian miners. Led by Queen Procipinee and Rolinard, a mighty army was dispatched to eastern kingdom. After the bloody battle the Resoln capital was finally conquered and renamed Amaria. Although the battle ended in victory, most of Queen Procipinee’s soldiers were killed. In fact, only the through the magic of Procipinee and the skill of Rolinard was victory even possible. The new city added incredible wealth to Procipinee’s kingdom. Along with the two gold mines, the new city had three magical shards. Two air shrines and another earth shrine. With Amaria joining the kingdom, Queen Procipinee now controlled five of Elementals shards. This actually is when Queen Procipinee decided she would conquer the world of Elemental through magic.
The next couple years saw three more heirs born to Procipinee and Rolinard; Christina, Miranda, and Bryce. Procipinee also met with Relias, an adventure from the north. Although they knew each other long ago, something had changed in Relias. He was a war mongerer. Soon after they met, he sent word that Queen Procipinee needed to pay him homage or there would be war. Queen Procipinee refused and Relias sent his troops marching into New Pariden from the northern passage. His troops were well armed; however, they were no match for magic of Queen Procipinee. In response, Queen Procipinee dispatched Rolinard and Theresus, who had become quite a warrior and mage in his own right, through the northern passage. Joined by Procipinee herself a few season later, the army conquered the first city and to spite Relias, Queen Procipinee renamed the city New Athica.
Word travelled that two other kingdoms had fallen, Lady Irane fell to the war monger Relias, and Verga was destroyed by the treacherous Kraxis. Queen Procipinee continued her campaign against Relias. So was Queen Procipinee’s rage that she used all of her magical powers to utterly destroy several cities. In two such cases Queen Procipinee ripped the very earth from under the city causing several earthquakes to crumple the city to the ground. After several battles and years of exploration, Queen Procipinee found the last of Relias’ cities. Queen Procipinee called on the fires of the world and created an enormous volcano to rise from the ground underneath the city. To Queen Procipinee’s surprise, the city had contained a water shard. Queen sent world to found a final city, Wayland, to build a shrine in the lost wildernesses of Elemental.
Now the Queen Procipinee controlled all the magical shards, she began the incantation to Master all of the Magic in Elemental. Upon completion of the spell, Karavox was forced to relinquish kneel before the true master of the world magic.
