Daring Strike

What is it, and when

This appears to be a modification of the combat mecahnic.  It seems to create damage above the attack strength of the striking unit.

(I ended up facing an enemy "soldier" with an attack strength of over 110.  ?  And then he pulled off a "daring strike".

I could not even figure out why my folks were getting such effective strikes.

I think it's a bug (and a quite-gamebreaking one at that. Sovereign one-shot killer material.)

Yet my full metal melee Sovereign with Daring and hundreds upon hundreds of bandits (and other stuff) dead (all that while the rest of the army watched)... pulled only 2 Daring Strikes. Damn 3% and lack of bug for Sovs.
