Feedback
First off, allow me to state that I really love what you guys have done with the game.
I think you are defiantly moving in the right direction.
City management is awesome, the Global mana pool and new spells really help define the magic system.
I look forward with great anticipation to further patches and seeing just what you guys have in store for us.
Elemental Bugs
-I noticed a bug, that allowed my Blackwidow fiends among other units to have access to the spells menu.
-My game crashed at one point when I queued a fruit orchard for construction.
-Loading a save game, seems to temporarily decrease the radius of your influence.
Elemental Suggestions
-I'd like to see a new UI button that allows you to view and dispel any of the enchantments your heroes have cast. without having to try and remember which of your heroes cast what, where.
-A Unit List much like the city list but intead showing all you have created, even those who are within cities.
Perhaps this list could have a sub tab, that will allow you view all your caravans.
I usually play one of the Empires, so most of my cities only ever have one caravan. However, recently I tried a Kingdom and with at least 3 caravans per city it can be quite a handful to try and keep track of all your caravans.
-Personally, I'd get rid of the Get rid of the "World" button.
You've already got a button that preforms its exact function, in the form of the "Kingdom Reports" button.
I'd cut the left panel buttons in half and assemble them into two rows.
If you yank the "City List" and "Quest" buttons out of the"Kingdom reports" menu, and include the new menus I suggest than you have exactly ten buttons for two rows of five.
|Kingdom Reports| |Diplomacy| |Dynasty| |City List| |Unit List|
|Quests| |Study Spells| |Research Tech| |Design Units| |Enchantments|
-When viewing the status of my champions, I noticed that the intelligence stat doesn't show up any more.
Without knowing that, there is no way to know how effective a given champion will be at casting spells until you've already infused them.
-In the game setup menu, I'd like to see random options for my sovereign, faction and my enemies factions.
-When you kill an opponent's sovereign, rather than having his entire empire just disappear in the blink of an eye, I'd rather see his remaining cities either
A. Be annexed by the victor or by other near by powers
B. Become independent cities
C. Become a minor sub faction
-Seemed to me that I was given too much population, I was never in a situation where I had to worry about whether or not I should really build a specific building or train a unit, for fear that I wouldn't have enough population for other projects later.
-I'd really like to see the city level up screen redone in a less intrusive way.
I have found that when my cities level up, its sometimes hard to know what they are meant to specialize in.
This is only really a problem with level one going on level two, as you sometimes haven't had enough time to build on all the resources around a city before it levels.
If there was someway I could have a look at the map, before I have to choose what bonus to bestow upon a given city at level up, that would be great.
I'll save my thoughts on tactical battles for another time, as I'd probably end up doubling this post in size, easily.
