listen i really don't know where you are coming from. The man has admitted that he made a mistake in putting the game out the way he did and he has promised to fix it. I'm not jumping on the bandwagon and crying out how wonderful he is - clearly there were issues with how they organized themselves this summer. He admitted it. Lets move on. Sure he could test it out further before releasing anything, but people are eager for the changes and many people are willing to help him improve it by offering suggestions and data from errors.
The world is simply not the same it was 15 - 20 years ago when it comes to releasing games - one of those changes is that it is EASIER to make fixes to your game if your inclined as a company to do that. I'm not saying the movie is art, but it was interesting in the way the script developed because they put it online for people to read and asked people how would they change the script - and they put a lot of the feedback into it. That is how Elemental is evolving as a game, and i wish the rest of the game industry would follow suit. It will make for many more higher quality games, which is what everyone wants.
