I am enjoying Elemental and have even gotten over the AI's habit of city spaming. However, I got to say that the current AI is dummer than dirt and that none of the NPC AI have any differences at all in personalities. In most of the other games made by Stardock, the AIs have different personality, they reacted differently to you and to what you do.

In Civ games you know some leaders will attack you no matter what you did, while others will go out of their way to be peaceful, but with Elemental I can kill any of the other sovereigns mate, rape and pillage their best city and 10 moves later they'll be asking for a peace treaty. Each and everyone of the current AIs react the EXACT same way, again dummer than dirt, with no differences in personalities or differences in strategy (and I use the term strategy loosely, cause they have no strategy other than city spam).

I will continue playing Elemental for now, hoping with all my heart that sooner or later the AI will be looked out and hopefully VANILLA will not be the best way to describe the Elemental AI.
