[1.08] Undocumented changes or bugs?

1) There seems to be an increased number of food resources appearing on maps for me. Used Ctrl+U cheat to check this after I noticed it on my first game (cut short due to unrecruitable champions). It's not only more food, but Wild Wheat and Twilight Bees as random resources, neither of which I have ever seen apart from the twilight bees the kingdom tech provides.

2) Kingdom empires start with access to the watchtower city upgrade.

Not sure about 1) though I have seen more now that you mention it.

2) though... that's an odd one, though it's not without company. Seeing quite a few strange numbers and tech appearances in the lists at the low levels (all I've been able to get through so far.)

1. Food resources have been increased because merchants now require 1 food to use.

2. Watch Tower was brought back because they are a useful early game item that offsets some of the early game Imperial improvements.

I just had some guys take little damage but lose all their health after the battle Then the battle started up again with both of them alive and at 0 health...wherein they promptly disappeared.

There's an undocumented bug for ya.

Hmmm ... I wonder what other undocumented new features are in, and whether the fact that a majority of heroes on the map are not recruitable is intentional. That gives me some hope that something was changed to cause that effect, and some sliver of hope in that, that it might be intentional (maybe more heroes are unlocked by something, but I did put two levels of Adventuring into new Heroes but still have only 2 total heroes I have been able to recruit out of some 10 or so I have seen running around :/).
