Thus far i am still really enjoying the game. i loved Civ 4, even bought the xbox ver of that game and loved that. I would say this game is even more more fun than Civ was. I like a lot of the mechanics of it. I love the tactical combat, I also LOVE the fact that I don't have to go through it if I don't want and can opt for auto-complete the battle at any time. Frequently I will take out all the big units with spells and hit the auto complete  button for the mop up duty.

I really like the RPG aspect of the game as well. It is a really nice twist on the old x4 game.  The quests are a bit stale at times, but I am sure better quests will come along. 

I am playing on an old laptop that is barely above specs. I have to play in cloth map mode and I get real strange ray trace artifacts in tactical mode and it is SLOOOOWWWWW.  Having said all that, it has only crashed a couple times, by and large it has been fairly stable. 

Clearly this game was not ready for launch though. One of my least important complaints is all the grammar and spelling errors. I am not one of those spelling and grammar freaks but OMW PLEASE hire a highschool graduate to proof the texts. Honestly all the tech problems I can understand, that stuff is hard..  but all the spelling and grammar errors make the whole game look like it was programmed by children. Not a huge deal but it does really give the game an anateurish
