I am a very new player and just finished the campaign which nothing more but simplified tutorial; then started a custom game and despite the unnerving and clumsy interface started to appreciate what the game has to offer... and started to understand it is not clear from the descriptions how important/unimportant are the different sovereign choices/race advantages/disadvantages etc including possible synergies between different traits/advantages etc and some of them probably depending on the game difficulty.
What i mean - it is obvious the sovereign needs the "organized" trait if i choose any speed increasing bonuses/level increases. But how much important is this? It gives the possibility to comb the land and get the goodies faster then the enemies but does it really matter and is it different for normal or for higher difficulties?
Also Altar starts with more resourses which can soare few turns... how important are those few turns... etc etc etc
And at last but not at least - the description of the special traits of the heroes are not quite clear. For example "administrative" hero must be in a city and increases the production in the city by 10%. What is understood as "production"? Materials production? All the materials production incl from mines/quarries/goldmines? Does it increase the construction rate too?
Or Janusk gives 1 gold/per turn. Does he gives this bonus when not in a city too?
