is there demo for this game?

It must have been posted somewhere but is there a demo for this game at all?

Seeing all this bugs and issues make me unsure of purchase and want to try it out if it runs ok in my pc.

Also coming from UK Civ 5 is around 24 pounds at Amazon and buying Elemental at Impulse is around 35 pounds.

So I think a demo will really help me out here.

Is there a demo? Or planned demo?

I have tried a number of times to use <ahem> alternative methods to demo this game, on a virtual XP PC (because I like to keep things clean), but no luck, even when meticulously following the directions. It would really be nice to try a real demo. Especially if I want to purchase in time to still get free expansions. But you could offer infinite free expansions - I simply will not buy until I've demo'd the game.

I doubt they will put out a Demo until they have most bugs fixed and the game tweaked to where they want it. You could be waiting a long time. Not really on the top of their list right now.

If i remember correctly they are planning on releasing the demo after the 1.1 patch which is due sept 30.

A demo at this point is very bad idea. Don't get me wrong I think this game will be great at some point. But right now a demo would scare away more people than it brought in.
