Turn Limited Game?

When I get to turn 464, my game stops. It doesn't crash. It just doesn't let me keep moving. Clicking End Turn does nothing and trying to move parties does nothing. I've tried reloading from a saved game and doing something different, but it still stops at turn 464.

 

Is this a bug or do I need to change a setting?

There are some issues with auto exploring,  check all your units for that.

I wasn't auto-exploring. I was manually moving my units or clicking End Turn.

what Zorbane was referring is that some people with this type of situation is because a unit got put on auto explore (on purpose or not) it some times got hung up causing this.. it may or may not be your issue.

i run into this from time to time.  where the end turn button is clickable, but it doesn't do anything.  my guess is the game is getting hung up on something. it is very annoying.

Okay, I guess I do have some ships on auto-explore. I had that happening in the background, so I wasn't thinking about it.

So is there a cure? If I stop them from auto-exploring before turn 464, will it keep going? (Obviously, I'll give this a try later.) Is there a way to prevent it from happening?

I had that happen to me in tactical battle, end turn did nothing...was realy annoying.

Stopping the ships from auto-exploring worked. I'd still like to know how to prevent it from happening again. Auto-exploring is convenient, and I don't want to give it up.

Just put auto save to 0 and reload, that's the best i see ...

happened to me too, was luckily able to click auto-finish tho
