Can't figure a few things out...

First off I want to say that I have enjoyed playing the day 0 patch (Much more balanced than gold version). However, I can't figure a few things out:

1. How to units get there hp back? I haven't hit healing spell yet or seen any auto-regen.

2. How do I cast the +1 to city (fill in the blank) spells? I have selected it, pushed cast but cannot a a valid target to show up.

3. Do the champions need to be in a city to trigger their bonus (+1 to research, for example)? Doesn't look like it, but I just want to be sure.

1. Keep them stationary, not sure if a town is required. The time is quite long, so you first think they don't heal at all.

2. Move out of the town first, casting doesn't work properly when garrisoned.

3. I think they don't need to be unless the bonus specifically mentions it. I.e. +25% settlement food production.

1. One thing I've been doing is swapping out troops. I use squads of 4 custom designed troops (given extra defense and health kits for extra hp and regen). I have squads in my main army with the sov, and squads in my cities. I use the teleport spell (best spell in the game, IMO) to hop around and swap beaten up squads from my army with fresh squads from cities.

3. IMO, they're pretty useless outside of their bonuses so I just stack them up in my capital. :/
