I did a search on the forums but couldnt find anything. Does anyone know how to enchant your cities? I have tried casting various spells on them (+ to research and food and such) and it doesnt let me. Inside the city, outside, etc.
I have cast some of city enchantments - you should focus the main square of city.
But I can't target units when stationed in the city. E.g. can't cast "Stone Skin" or "Summon Familiar" when caster in the city.
That is exactly what I am doing, guess I will wait for a patch.
I saw that those spells do have a range of 3 tiles. You'll see a green square appear when the cursor is within range, otherwise it's red. (Or rather when your caster is within range)
I have seen something similar. For me at least, I de-selected my caster, selected something random, a city, another unit, etc... then selected caster again and casted away.
You have to move out of the city, be next to it, then cast the spell and select the city
You can't cast spells while in a city
