unequipping items on heros

i got my sovreign and another hero in one stack. the other guy has a dagger and some armour. i want to give those things to my sovreign but for the life of me i cant figure out how to unequip them so they show up in the trade interface. right now in the trade interface i can only see some of those stone thingies that my sovreign has found.

If you open up the hero's inventory (select him and click the button next to his HP), the stuff he's wearing should be highlighted in green. If you click on those, they should become unequipped and you can then trade them to your Sovereign.

I agree, this is annoying.

 

All the heroes "personal stash" that you cant controll is just silly.

 

On a similar note... buying things is a reall hussle.

I now have to see what my heroes have, coz i tend to forget...

then go to the sotre... buy a new sword...

go out and equip...

trade with another hero...

equip on him...

go back to the store to sell out of date sword/dagger whatever...

 

really???

The whole store system and "trade" amongst heroes should be revised...

I think you can't sell stuff that adventurers and such have on them when hired. Probably there to prevent abuse or something. Could it be that you can't trade those items either?

Can you trade this way to soldiers too or just heroes.  I was unable to unequip the starting club from a pesant to pass to a hero with no weapon.

Is it even possible to upgrade soldier equipment after they are produced?

I think you can trade stuff *to* regular soldiers so they can carry it, but they can't equip it. Likewise you can't unequip normal troops and pass their stuff on to your Sovereign/Heroes. At the moment it isn't possible to upgrade soldiers after they're produced. You can disband the unit to get the population back (goes to the nearest town), and build an upgraded design.

Thanks for the response, it is good to know.

It would be nice if the trading system was clearer or more intuative.
