My next step in campaign is to "get back to Kandir" to get "tome of Dred'nir" in the library so that something could be translated. I know where "Kandir pass" is, killed the dragon there, but I just can't find this Kandir! Help!?
I had this problem. it isn't marked. if you go back towards the pass into the northen desert area. then while north of the pass move to the right and just go square to square you will eventually find it. from memory it is almost all the way to the right as you come out of the pass. There should be a ruin marked on the map.
it is the ruined home of Janusk... When you were at the phase to head to his home it was named thus .. (quest goals really need to be highlighted IMHO)
The reason why I could not find it is.... IT IS NOT VISIBLE ON CLOTH MAP
It should be fixed (though I play the original campaign, without restarting it for 1.05 patch, so it may be fixed already)
I could not find Kandir and the tome of Dred'nir either. I completed the campaign only by putting a city by the gate and then teleporting past the obsidian barricade once my city's influence got large enough. I am pretty sure my solution was a work around.
I am going to do the campaign again. Maybe I will be able to find it this time.
