Spells has two sides.
Let's say summoning. The 'light' (or Life) side version has "Summon Vigilant defender", the Empire (death) side has "Summon Spy". Same creature, different title. The elemental spells are kind of 'neutral', so this is only with the enchantment and summoning books. Since you no longer start with the summoning books, there will be a few spells you don't see, but you will get them later.
