Just thought people would like to share their tips and hints concerning the game. I'm not talking about full blown strategy guides or anything here, just short and to the point helpful information, hopefully newcomers and veterans alike will find the information useful!
----------------------
When I first started the game I noticed that "creating a bunch of cities" isn't necessarily a good thing. Sure, you can claim helpful territory faster, but on the bad side of things you'll also need to create a larger army to defend all of your cities. If you focused more into a few cities, it's easier to protect.
---------------------
Here's a pro-tip for you, don't follow in my footsteps and just research civics, you'll get smoked pretty fast by enemies. I'd suggest at least getting some warfare basics, such as upgrade to weapons/armor, and fortifications.
---------------------
For the love of everything holy, garrison your cities. This, is something I failed to do in one of my biggest cities, and a rogue group of bandits just walked right in and burnt the entire thing to the ground.

Any other short, and helpful hints??
