@Wintersong: I have the boxed edition of Sins' Trinity Edition. IIRC I've previously owned boxed versions of GC2's expansions.
Now I have to deal with Impulse and it will cost me more money than I would normally pay for a game. Given that I'm dealing direct with the guys making it - there are no shipping costs or B&M stores taking their cut - that seems like a damn cheek.
Not only that but it costs the same for a pure DD as it does for getting the box in the USA.
IMHO the normal version should have only be available via download with the only physical version being the Collectors.
I'm tired of seeing games cost 20% or more on DD than I can buy from a shop. I have a friend who recently bought Sup Com 2 from steam for £8.50 because it was on offer. His questionable choice in RTS games aside he could have bought it for less from an online shop.
