First, are we supposed to be paying attention to the techs themselves at this point, or were the current techs just 'thrown in there' for the Beta, and not reflective of how the techs will be in the final game? Please say the latter...
I haven't played a Kingdom faction yet in Beta 3, but I have to admit I don't like the techs available for the Empires.
You can build monuments after researching Majesty... So what do you need the Monuments tech for?
What exactly do those 'Kurgen' techs under Domination do? The ones that grant you knowledge about adventurers?
I've researched several different spellbooks, yet my selection of spells to choose from doesn't change. I finished all the 10 pt. spells several 'spellbooks' ago, and nothing new has been added. I would expect to be able to learn some new minor enchantments for 10 pts, for example, after researching the 'Enchantment' Spellbook.
These are just a few examples. I'm under suspicion that we're not really supposed to pay much heed to the techs themselves, rather the tech system as a whole, but I can't find anything saying one way or the other.
