quoting postThis is a screenshot of Elemental on a low end ATI mobile card.
Sweet! My laptop has a low end ati mobile card! (Though i have to say, that screeny looks a bit sparse, a little variation between the textures of the empty tiles would be nice. Or less squaredness, i know it's a tile based game, but completely square forest are just silly.)
Well I was thinking the same at first, but if you look at the other objects, the do overlap squares, so it is not that bad
.
Anyway, I like art direction and colorful presentation, but obviously, that screenshot look a little bit rough, textures are not very detailed and AA would help alot. For such an old PC it is really very nice, my hope is, that engine will scale up well for those who has latest hardware.
Still, where is some grass swaying in the wind, shadows from the clouds and smoke from the houses
. I also hope, things are not static, like trees etc, hard to say from screenshot
Some birds and neutral (non attackable) animals would make world come alive.
