For my games, Impulse usually automatically registers them. I never even see a screen to enter a serial number.
I think the complaints I have seen are usually related to "my serial fell out of the box". They're not that common from what I've seen, even though the people who do have them are incredibly vocal about it (and honestly, rightly so).
All that said, a quick email to support@stardock.com usually fixes things up. I'd trust Gargabee's link to the support site will be just as fast or faster, since he's, you know, a support guy.
