the question was towards the Stardock staff, as the longer we are waiting the less likely we are to get hold of a copy...

i mean, look at how many members Stardock had on their forums, even if only one in three hundred of them decided to actually buy the limited edition before we get the opertunity to change our order, there would be no copies left. and thats not even including whose who arnt on the forums, and who stumple upon it on the internet or word of a friend (im sure each of us has told at least one person about this game by now).

maybe i should give up and resign myself to only being able to have the digital download standard edition.

If you're asking them, why not ask it in the dev journal posted by them already on this subject? Especially since its already being talked about there?

The bottom line is that nobody knows anything. Starting a new thread to ask the same thing again accomplishes nothing except creating forum clutter. Besides, common sense dictates that if it manages to sell out before anybody gets to upgrade, they'll make more of them so people can upgrade. Telling your most fanatical customers that they're being screwed for ordering early makes NO sense from a business standpoint.

There's nothing to worry about.

And in case anyone is prone to panic. The good word is that the nice Lady at the CHECKOUT will make sure you only get billed the extra $20.00. So don't sweat the early dollar #'s. Just carry on the nice lady at the CHECKOUT...
