I have a question about Elemental that I am curious about.
Since this game is compared a little to MOM I was wondering about units , research and buildings. In MOM you only had to research spells. The rest of the game was managing you cities to build new units and buildings for mana and research. I think in Elemental you can design units, research technologies to build better buildings and units and you also research spells.
In MOM it was pretty easy to get straight into the action of exploring and building your cities while only researching spells. I am all for managing every aspect of the game but will there be an option to make it so you only have to worry about different spells and use a set number and type of buildings and have the different buildings only build different types of units. So say you build a barraks therefore that building allows you to build swordsmen and only one type of swordsman.
I know resources are gonna affect what you can do to but will everybody have access to the same resources or will some have iron where as depending on city location maybe you will have bronze or mithril to work with. Anyway what I am wondering if there will be an option to dumb it down if you will so you can get right into the exploring and fighting of creatures? Or will it always have lots to manage and micro manage?
One more thing about heroes? Does the game have them and can you go to a tavern to recruit or use spells and summon them? Actually I have more of questions than just one. Does your ruler (the player) move about the world or does he stay in a tower and can you build cities anywhere you want or can you only expand in your borders of essence?
