The Music

The music for Elemental is really very good. Who is the composer? If you hit the option button on the main menu, the music fades and only the percussion remains, If you do it repeatadly it's like being a conductor messin with the orchestra.

When I play Elemental I can't help of thinking of the version of the traditional song The Trees They Do Grow High by Pentangle especially when it comes to the dynasty stuff. I wonder if they'll include something like that in the HBO Game of Thrones.

They have mentioned that guy who is composing soundract done some also some music for their previous titles and for the Age of wonders, which had in my opinion wonderful soundtrack, I still have some songs on my computer and listen to them sometimes.

Eh. I was kind of hoping he *didn't* come back. His music for Age of Wonders was pretty great, but Galactic Civilizations pretty much just droned on in the background endlessly.

Even his battle music wasn't particularly memorable. Warcraft 3 and Supreme Commander both have incredible soundtracks - GalCiv, not so much. Maybe he'll prove me wrong this time, though. I haven't heard Elemental's music yet.

Galciv's tension/wartime music was good though.

I haven't heard Elemental's score yet, but I looovvvve GalCiv2's music (I keep the CD in my car on repeat, it's so cinematic, it's like a great film score). I can't wait to hear it though, is the music available anywhere yet?

The menu piece of music is awesome.

I'd just like to not get overwhelmed with the same music over and over again, even if it's good. As I'll be spending hundreds of hours on the game, a little more variation would be nice.

Ya, anyone know if they plan on expanding the music beyond the current 5 minute loop in the beta? I love the theme song as much as the next guy, but I really don't look forward to listening to it for a full 30 hour game, let alone games 2, 3, or 4.

I just hope the music is set up to where you can drag your own music into the game. I would love to hear Ashes In The Fall as I lay siege to someones city! RATM
