I'm beginnig to wonder if these "leaks" are officially condoned by Stardock... I know that they don't really mind (they obviously read the posts, so if they cared about it, he would no longer be doing it), but I'm not sure if it's just a BoogieBac  thingy or if somebody is saying "go on the forums and leak blahblahbalh".

What I meant was whether this was Boogie's idea with the rest of the team's approval, or if he was just the chosen front-man.

He's the project manager (or whatever it's called), so I'm sure he has his approval Frogboy still seems to have the higher authority even in respect to Elemental, but somehow I doubt he'd mind these fairly harmless twitter updates considering how much information he's been known to leak

  Haha You really think we're that coordinated?!   No, my posts are all a matter of looking over our work and picking out things that wont piss off marketing   Like right now screenshots have to go through them since we have several 'exclusive' magazine peices going out soon...so instead you get icon sheets and original peices of concept art.

Well, I'd say it's official since Stardock has several other twitter accounts for things like Impulse and Frogboy himself has a twitter account as well as Zoomba.  They are using Twitter to get the word out.  Like yesterday they had a poll on Twitter for what new game coming out you want Impulse to carry.  Just search hash tag #impulsepoll

For a few weeks they were doing Monday giveaways on Twitter where they were giving away free games or wincustomize apps to followers on Twitter.

Just get a Twitter account and follow Stardock stuff and be done with it.  Don't need to follow anyone else.

Well ideally I woud want to update it less than an hour after BoogieBac posts, but that is unrealistic. Once I'm back from vacation (Sunday) I plan to update at least once a day (assuming there are any updates).

I don't think I'll be doing IRC any time soon   As much as I would like too, I can't spend 24 hours everyday on IRC.

I just put up the first (and so far only) update from week 3. Because week 2 didn't have a lot of updates, and it doesn't look like week 3 will either, I'm just going to combine them in the same thread.

So do I. I know people @ school with that sort of skill, but they all work on paper, and I know from practice that doing that sort of thing with a mouse, or even worse a laptop touch-pad, is waaaay harder.. Well, it is his job, after all............

I would be surprised if the art team at Stardock doesn't use graphics tablets... But then you never know. I do actually know some people who can do incredible things with things like artpad using nothing but a mouse.

Indeed, another great movie... Would it be possible to get some explanation about the different drawings? (The red, the blue and the black) Why it is made in three phases?

Looks like the map editor may be ready for the first beta...I'll keep everyone posted as we get features wrapped up!

I would love to start beta testing the map editor...

More digging uncovered the first Ever Elemental Screenshot (circa 2007)! http://sd.stardock.com/Elemental/firstelescreen.jpg

This no_face unit should be made into one of the special and rare old beasts which may appear on the game...  thus giving respect to the first screenshot.
