America is unlikely to use nukes ever again. Nukes have a terrible reputation. If the President used nukes in war, he is sure to lose the next election. The American people would be outraged. Thats why the U.S invented daisycutter bombs.
Chinese use blitzkrieg?
All modern military "army vs army" warfare is based on Blitzkrieg.
If we fought them in China, they would lose because many of their people want democracy and would revolt in hopes of overthrowing the communist state.
Over 40% of chinese people want MORE government control according to a recent survey in the news. The rest want it to stay the same. Look at Tiananmen Square. It was only a few Uni students and they sent in the tanks. How do you think they would respond with a massive uprising on their hands? The resistance wouldn't last long.
Anyway, it is rediculous to say that some country "just has to do this or that and the war will be won." Thats what everyone said in WW1. Look how that turned out.
Winning wars is messy. Its not all about "moving our merry men like chess pieces then delivering the knockout blow and coming home for Christmas with a wonderful victory." It's never that simple.
Military plans never survive first contact with the enemy.
we win. period
Keep telling yourself that. America would hold back a Chinise amphibous invasion, but America wouldn't be able to invade China. American soldiers probobly are better trained, but that didn't help much against the Koreans or the Vietnamese.
Throw in their being 9 guns for every 10 people in America and im pretty sure we can kick the Chinese ass if they so much as even attempted to invade us
Give 9 guns for every 10 chinese people and America is GREATLY outnumbered militarily. You make winning wars sound so easy. Underestimate your foe and you are begging to lose.
