wnmnkh - Just curious, how would the totem have helped? There were not any regulus (mines) / erebus (shroud) players. Consumables were limited by the low gold income unfortunately.
Des - this game did not represent my item build at all. Again, low gold income, this is not what I'm used to. Normally I'm getting kills off (or assists) often even in the early / mid game. Sometimes I'll buy universal gadgets even to snipe early game, since the 650 damage on an already wounded opponent is pretty brutal from level 1-5 or so. I usually keep one of each potion if I don't think I'll get the HoL early. I chose the armor quickly for its HP and Armor bonuses, not for minion benefits. I wanted to be meatier since I was consistently being targetted over Brad, and I'd rely on scooting away with the heart of life to heal when things got too tough.
If I could go back I'd have upgraded gold so I'd have the gold I needed later on for the items I wanted. I had decided to float cash for more expensive items though like the heart, and was always anticipating that we'd get more kills off once Frog levelled up. I just played a 2v2 Panth game where I had the Ashkandor within about 10 minutes and prior to level 14. Again, I cannot predict the future, this game was very unique compared to the ones I normally play.
I'm new in the sense that I did not play the beta, but I consider myself to be a solid TB player in retail. It took a lot of time to put this video together, and I did so mainly because I figured the community would like to see Brad play. I didn't really put this up to have my tactics and financial decisions torn to pieces, especially considering that this is not how my games play out normally.
Regarding recording - I used Fraps with a Core i7 920, 6GB DDR3, and Geforce GTX 280 custom build. I was in windowed mode at a non-standard res, but it still processed / encoded well enough to retain most of a 16:9 / 16:10 shape.
