Just picked up this game yesterday, and i gotta say...WOW! What a beautiful game. I really should have bought this last year when I first heard about it, but I'm really happy to be here now. Good work, Ironclad!
So, yeah, I just started yesterday. I did the tutorials, and I started a small 1v1 single player game, playing as the Advent. I think I'm coming along, but there is so so much going on that I feel a bit overwhelmed. Are there any good...I'm not sure what they'd be called...AARs or guides going through a game, explaining what's going on, for a new player? For GalCivII or CivIV I've read a few AARs that did a good job of explaining things and actions that the next time I played the game I had a better idea of what was going on and what to do. Anything like that for Sins that you know of?
Also, when's a good time to jump into multiplayer. Honestly, I've never been very good at RTS/4X games (though I love to play them) and I have a feeling that I'm gonna get crushed in multiplayer. Should I spend some time playing the single player games before I try multiplayer? Or should I just jump right in?
Thanks for your help. And, again, great game Ironclad and Stardock! You're now responsible for the many nights that will surely come where I neglect housework and work-work to play this game. I hope you're happy with yourself!
