Download speed

Is it normal that the maximum download speed provided by Impulse is about 1 to 1.25 MB/s? I live in Europe, Switzerland. Is the download speed higher in the US?

Since Impulse was especially created to let people download big things like games I think it should be higher...

And is it correct that there isn't a forum section especially for questions on Impulse?
