I was trauling when I found a little ghost in the closet over at ironclad games. The naughty boys really need to cleanup and so I am going to give you a few choice pieces before giving the link to see for yourself.
Marza, Kol and Dunov Oh Yeahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
Mwahahahaha Look at what your beloved Marza was gonna look like!
Strangely the Old Kol seems to have more guns than the current one
Now this just looks like a box that you would use as the space equivalent of a coffin. I actually like the current Dunov in comparison.
Jarrasul, Halcyon and JiTraska
Would be interested to see that drain Resources better. Anyway it looks, erm frightening. Anyway this is that space whale the Jarrasul
I actually prefer this. Considering making the Vasari scout look like this next update StarDock?
Only one Advent ship, oh well this Halcyon Carrier was no doubt the pinnacle of the advent fleet.
Here's a little treat the good Old Galaxy Map with those lovely symbols and high def planets:

Quotes
Here are a few quotes
"...blockading enemy planets, establishing trade routes, and manipulating the commodities market..." eh? as in a starbase that could defend gravity wells or prevent ships getting past phase lanes? Hint Hint
"Q. When will Sins of a Solar Empire be released?
A. Sins of a Solar Empire is expected to be released in 2006." Whoa Boy now lets not get hasty
"Q. If Sins of a Solar Empire was designed with consoles in mind, does this mean the user interface for a PC player will suffer?
A. No, in fact, two completely separate user interface schemes were developed: one for mouse (and optionally keyboard) and one for a control pad." Wait what??? Consoles??? Ahhh!!!!!
"Q. What exactly do you mean by the phrase "real time space strategy"?
A. This means that Sins of a Solar Empire is primarily a real-time strategy game (RTS) but, incorporates some of the best features of space strategy games (4X). One could almost say it's an "RT4X" game." I didnt even highlight the 4x. It was like that where I found it
"Planets exert gravity on nearby ships and structures and orbit about their stars for an evolving battlefield." It would be pretty awesome if phase lanes were dynamic and the planets orbited forging and breaking lanes so your planets could one time be in friendly territory next in hostile. If that happens I'll camp out for this game come release 2006
In all honesty though I love Sins and hope you continue to improve it. Still it's interesting to see the old game.
I leave you with pictures of what your avatars would have looked like.
