the back fence

crumbling old outhouse
with flies gathering
around the door
are they glowing
with bells on
not Tubular Bells
but chapel bells
ringing high noon
around about dusk.
married in moonlight
under the stars
happiness cup runneth
over with merriment
and good cheer
