I am undying, if you kill me, one more will take my place, and I will go on to be with my Savior. This does not, however, mean that you have a right to attack me personally or stereotypically, discriminate against me, or hate me.
Persecution is what you make of it. If you want to know why people have reacted so strongly to your presence, you have but to listen and you'll hear their logic.
I can tell you now it's not because you're prolific. Gid was very prolific in his day, and regularly wrote three or more articles in a day. The difference was that they were good articles, well written, well reasoned and articulate. Yours are not. You say a few sentences and then go, as if that is enough.
People are upset because they want to hear more from you. The advantage of a blogging site like JU is that people here are genuinely interested in what others have to say and think about a topic or an issue, and they make themselves heard. When someone says a great deal (eg by publishing a lot of articles) they go to those stories expecting the same level of passion from the writer as from the reader. It's the result of a disconnect from the expectations of the reader and yourself that you find yourself 'persecuted'.
You have a few choices. The best one is simply to invest more into what you write. Why do write what you do? Never put in a word what it takes a sentence to explain. Conciseness is good, but it's no match for clarity. People will forgive almost anything if you say it with faith and a mind for a good argument.
The second is to weather the storm and write the occasional 'woe is me' article. This can work. Eventually you'll be ignored, given up as a lost cause, a nuisance if nothing more. You'll lose the regulars as readers, but presumably you never wanted them anyway, so no big deal.
Thirdly you can retreat from the forums to your blog by unticking the 'post to the forums' box when you create articles. There you won't have to worry about the views of others because the regulars probably won't visit.
Or there's a final solution. Cut back. I don't advise this - if you feel you have a lot to say, say it. But if you don't want to say what you mean, if you don't want to treat the reader like a friend and tell them a story with your articles, then if you cut back on how many articles you post then the 'persecution' you claim will drift to a halt.
It's your choice. God gave you the power to determine your best course of action when he gave you reason. Choose.
