Ideas are best shared, especially if it would improve a great game like Sins, so if you have one you could shout out and maybe developers would look at them (do they check forums?) and integrate some of those ideas into new content patches...
Here is one I thought of...
I thought of a special ability called strike team. A ship can be loaded with soldiers and pods. the "commandos" would go into pods and those pods would go through the hull when the shields are down or "phase through" enemy shields if your vasari. once inside the enemy ship the strike team would try to take over the ship or sabatoge main structures like life support. Also a ship can be specifically designed to do this and multiple pods can be launched from different ships. So there would be chance wieghed in by the size/crew of enemy ship, amount of pods launched into the enemy ship, etc that the ship can be taken over or destroyed/seriously damaged. there could be 2 teams to launch, a commando team that would try to take the ship over, or the suicide/bomb team that would try to cripple/destroy ship.
