The Speed Modes/Patch/MP

So I have played a couple games on fast mode now, and I have to say its a good setting and it really helps the early game; also it really helps that the MP stuttering seems to be gone; overall great work, I personally no longer care about the speed issue, I think they have it just right now.

And man, we have sound and ships that explode properly online too... fantastic!

I need to watch ships more carefully to see they handle way points, supposedly they don't stop and go now.

So do you guys like the pacing now or no?

Some comments about the changes. While the increase in credits gathering removes an issue (that one that you've not enough money in the beginning) it's imho not a game speed issue, but a design issue that should also be changed in other game speeds. In other words, a 20% tax income increase overall should be made.

That deceleration has to increased so much is imho because of flaws in pathfinding and target handling. Imho some improvements there could make it less necessary.

Overall the game speed increase is nice (though not really enough, the new fast should probably be the old normal and the old normal the new slow), although I still would want a speed option in single player.
