IMO Stardock and IronClad's greater obligation is to release a good game...not a game in
that excuse doesn't really work when its already past the time of the original release date...
yep same here, the august release seemed somehow to early to me
a serious question; how long has the game been in development.
Thanks for the support gang.
yeah? well

.
Keep in mind that the beta testers have preordered the game and are primarily the ones posting suggestions and improvements that they'd like to see in SoaSE. Yes, the delay is disappointing but it would be so much worse if SD and IC came out and said "Thanks for all the great ideas but few or none will be implemented b/c we want to hit our launch date. Thank you for purchasing SoaSE...keep an eye out for an expansion pack set to go on sale in the new year. Tentatively titled 'SoaSE: The Way the Fans Actually Wanted SoaSE to be.'"
I can understand this, except that the beta got shoved back 3 months, the game was already shoved back for a full year and now theres another 1/2 year pullback.
I appreciated the first delays because they made sense. but I dont see how there can be a 1/2 years of work on an already pretty damn fun game. I dont see what could possibly be added that could make the game require so much more time!
