My church has just recently changed general course, possibly due to a loss of numbers in the high school ministries section. Im still not sure how to respond to all these changes, but thats a different topic.
My pastor has changed to topical studies, as opposed to book by book verse by verse studies.( Just to mention, i am a Reformed Christian.) So, the new and beginning topic for this "new" chruch style is dating. Which, for me, is a hard topic.
I am a 17 year old girl that about four months ago started dating my first real boyfriend. Ever since the day that i started dating Adam Brewer I've gotten soo much crap for it. By now, I'm sick of it, and sorry to say, but so is he. But that has nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with my emotions, soooo....
An elder, well actually shes not so elderly to me, does not approve of my dating him, not because he's a bud guy, or because ive had dating problems in the past, or for any reason inparticular, but because she doesnt think that we should. I personally think that its because he doesnt know her that well and doesnt try to. I am to the I DONT CARE point. but again, thats just me.
wow...this turned into a venting paper. i guess i'll change the subject from religion to misc and just go with that eh?
i do not know what to do with all of this. If i tell her to please stop critizing me and just accept it, she'll think that something is wrong because "students that think they've got it wired usually dont, they are usually in sin and dont want accountability on it." and if i dont mention it to her and just keep going on my current path, i'll eventually explode with frustration.

YEAH! NO BLODDY KIDDING! I KNOW! OH TRUST ME I KNOW IT. BUT U WANNA KNOW SOMETHING? YOUR THE ONE HURTING ME AND HE WILL BE BACK!
*hard breathing* wow....even writing in all caps on the computer allows for venting. *sigh* who knows, maybe she'll read this online and then i wont have to tell her.........hopefully not though, i dont want to feel bad about saying it.
