Actually, the only brush that works on my mess is an Avon one!  For Women!  You should see the stares I get from the Avon Ladies!

My Dad passed on to me the use of a soap bar and brush as shaving cream instead of some fancy overprised half effective gel.

It works better than any other thing on the market. I know because I have tried them.

The bar soap is good, and worth the cheap ass price you pay for it. Not to mention it lasts a HELL of a lot longer!!!

Though razor is another story all together... Me and razor's have a big beef, since I'm a hairy man who has to shave at LEAST once a day to stay in reg's...

That's where a good quality razor comes in handy. Closer shave equals slower regrowth. Straight razors offer the best shave, but a good double edge safety razor can come pretty close to them if used correctly. Those 2/3/4 blade things are just gimmicks and don't give nearly as close a shave.

Astounding!  simply astounding what some people will pay....

I suppose as long as there's a market for it huh?...

That is one expensive hair brush! I guess it's all in the hair or the bristle of the brush. If they use mink, or some type that's not easy to twist or pull out....that's probably the reason! Naw...I'm a bargain hunter....couldn't afford it!


I don't mind paying more for something if it's worth it and if it's really necessary for me to have. Being a mom I don't do that too often, if at all!LOL!

That's just the thing. The materials used to make the brush really aren't anything all that special. It's a fake ivory handle and standard boar bristles. I guess the fact that it's all hand made is supposed to make it worth it. Not to me.

I have a great set of glasses. I hardly paid anything for them, and soon as I finish the last of the jelly, mayonaise, and peanut butter I'll have a matching set.
