Reply By: JillUserPosted: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 I learned that the nurse at school is making my kid paranoid. |
We have a nurse who must've got her degree out of a crackerjack box at our kids school too. She did the exact same thing to me that your nurse did to you, except it was with Davey's wrist. She wouldn't let me leave him at school, either, she insisted that I take him home saying that he might've broken it. So, I did, and half an hour later he was playing XBox. Yeah, he had a broken wrist alright.:/
I learned I have a short fuse when ill... |
Me too. I think that's universal, actually.
AND , I gots good news yesterday, and the day before! am getting a washing machine and also got a letter saying that an exception is being made in my case, and they will pay for me to have a new partial along with the new upper denture! Yay! |
Excellent news!
1. I won't make it to work on time if I don't get up until ten to nine (this is a lesson I learn just about every day |
Man, what's it like to sleep in that late on a weekday!? I'm so jealous!
(OK, it might have been lame and only seems funny in retrospect, but my husband was nearly on the floor in shock and laughter, hehe |
I thought it was hilarious, and I'm really quite jealous because I'd have liked to use it!
I learned today, when one door closes another one opens |
This is very true, Elie. Isn't it funny how opportunities prsent themselves like that?
I learned yesterday that when a four year old runs out of the school building, no matter how fast I run, I'm not going to catch him |
Yep, they can be nippy little buggers. Mine were lightning fast!
And that being skinny is overrated and eating lots of chocolate is better. |
I've learned the same thing lately, which is why I've been having to look for bigger clothes!
I learned that it doesn't matter that I'm 6.5 pounds lighter than I was a month ago, the day before my period -- I still feel FAT. |
There are days when no matter how much you weight, you just feel fat. I know them all too well..
I learned that doing a new yoga class is easier in my head than in in real life! sigh
so how did you learn what sis you should be? Someone tell you? or did you jsut try on everything? |
I learned the same thing last week, and I paid the price for it for 2 days.
I tried a bunch of pairs of pants on. Now I know that this brand fits well, though...I think that I'm going to stick with them.
they are all their own person and they all do things on their own terms at their own rate. |
Yes, they do. Shea I had to work at getting clean and dry; Davey did it all by himself when he was 27 months old, and Jake ...well, having learned from Shea that they'll do it when they're ready I waited for Jake to give me the signal that he was interested. He did, and he was potty trained in one weekend the Christmas after he turned 2.
